At Mike’s Ellijay Restaurant, every plate carries a piece of our history. What began as a small dream in the early 1950s has grown into a place where good food and good people still come first.
I’m proud to be the fourth generation running this place. I started here at 15, learning the meaning of hard work, hospitality, and treating folks right, lessons passed down through my family long before I ever stepped behind the counter.
This restaurant has moved a few times over the decades, but its heart has never left Ellijay. It’s always been a true family business, and that tradition continues today. With four kids of my own, three nearly old enough to join in, keeping this legacy alive means everything to me.
We’re honored to serve homestyle Southern food that feels just the way it should: warm, honest, and full of flavor. Around here, full plates and friendly faces aren’t just what we do, they’re who we are.
If you’re craving real Southern comfort, we’d love to cook for you. Give us a call at (706) 635-4381 for to-go orders, we’ll have it hot and ready for you.
